Communio — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-23

Overview

Communio is a Professional Household ERP and optimization tool designed to operate 100% offline. This privacy policy describes what data Communio handles and how.

Data we collect

None. Communio does not collect, transmit, or share any data with the developer, third parties, or any remote service. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting, and no telemetry SDKs.

Data stored on your device

Communio stores the following information locally on your device only, in the app's private SQLite database:

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

Backups you create

The app's Export feature lets you write a JSON backup file to a location you choose using the Android Storage Access Framework. The destination is your choice; Communio does not transmit backups anywhere automatically. The Import feature reads JSON files you select.

Network access

Communio's AndroidManifest.xml declares no network permissions. The app does not contain any code to access the internet.

Android Auto Backup

Communio explicitly disables Android Auto Backup (android:allowBackup="false" in the app manifest). This means your inventory and action items are not uploaded to your Google account or any cloud service by Android's system-level backup mechanism. Your data lives only on the device. The trade-off is that uninstalling and reinstalling Communio — or moving to a new device — will not preserve your data automatically; use the in-app Export feature to create a backup file you control.

Children's privacy

Communio does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy materially changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
